Agree with you 100% on the "good ground" finding gold but would like some that doesn't look like it's came out of flies bum :/
Just organising work and awaiting a few bits and pieces to arrive myself and will be off up past you hopefully by the end of the week.

Then just to top it off insurance said you drove into it so no claim will be recognized. Ya gotta love that ...... not

Mate I usually just connect phone to comp as a media device then load from picture file on phone . Connect via usb or blue tooth

Was healthy to be off internet and reception for a while at WC.
Last short session for me tomorrow and after 5 days which yielded about 15g heading back to Cairns.
Might give Palmer a go after some break.

Actually 14g and after cleaning probably around 10g. Spoke to a bloke who spent 1week and found non (z7000).Few others similar results so I'm happy with my result.

Just got back and not so good but was more an R & D trip than find. The hills are that steep you can barely stand let alone walk up them. Tossing up about going tomorrow south but will certainly give you a yell when heading up to Western Creek which looks like a must do Again well done.

Bogger, plenty of people use quad bikes in WC. I have a dirt bike. But 4wd should do, sometimes a road is rough and water worn but should get you around except maybe few places where you have to walk a bit.Even I have to walk when it gets bushy and hilly(but hey that's a price for gold) easy places don't produce much anymore. Every retired Billy and Henry have been there
PhaseTech WC produced lots of leaf gold (last time found five pieces) together with ironstone covered nuggets and specimans are being found over there too.
