What state is your mate in Kawman?

Round here (GT) most buyers offer spot price (refined gold price) MINUS 10-15% for what is termed 'smut' gold usually clean sub 10 gram pieces that will be melted down into ingots. Anything bigger or perhaps what is termed 'jewelry' pieces can command more, and even spot + 10-20%.

We undervalue our gold in comparison to the yanks who prize even the smaller bits....

I have done many trades and been on there for years, I think from memory Nugget started there as well way back. In general it is a good place, always a few that mess it up but look at feedback on trades and you should be good.

the nuggets have been tested and are 24 c.. the smaller nugget had an iron inclusion and was magnetic.. it sold for $230.. the larger one is still available.. $18 a grm ripped off...

I wondered the same - also no natural gold nuggets are 100% pure or 24 carat?
Selling for $18/gram doesn't add up & being magnetic because of an iron inclusion that isn't visible don't either. How good of mates are you with this bloke?

I hardly know him.. Brother of a mate.. the nugget was not iron fake plated with gold.. it was the real deal.. I weighed both of them and did not notice any inclusions.. even if there were it was worth a lot more than the selling price .. the guy was desparate because all off his assets have been frozen pending divorce..I am crying for him not offering it to me for that rediculouse selling price... :8 He has been tuned up and will not be so stupid next time.. the large nugget is still for sale but NOT AT THAT PRICE.. reasonable offers only will be considered
