I think your copper coin might not be Fleur de lis but rather the Prince of wales feathers there are several late 18th century Condor Tokens with that design most dated to 1794

Holy moly, that's awesome! I'm slowly learning about the tokens, that's one of the earliest of the English first round of tokens isn't it?

Yesterday i got out for my first hunt on a new 1800's permission
Ive had some rough hunts in the past ,but this one was extremely testing and very draining.
This paddock obviously had a few buildings/structures on it over the years. The amount of iron drove me mad.
There was no way i could possibly hunt here with headphones on , thats for sure !!

I like the cricket ball buckle its pretty much like a snake buckle
The (half of ) buckle with the eagle on it is a very solid piece and what i presume to be American military related.. but could be way off
The fox head is a flattened button.
The (headless) cricketer , in the diamond, is surely the centre piece of yet another buckle , so , one day , when i feel i need some extreme punishment , i will return with a smaller coil.
Not actually looking forward to that day though :awful:

Someone else may find that same buckle too in another 150 years or so..... imagine the noise dilema that poor sod is gunna face..... at least he won't have to face finding that cruel hoard. I think maybe you should name and frame that one mate....the cruel hoard, just to give it provenance for the future. It'll be worth a fortune one day then. :D

Wow, got some great cricket memorabilia there Sandta, what a site. That Eagle buckle would definitely be US military, could you please post a closeup pic of it - worth doing a bit of research on that one. :Y:
