I had the day off work today.... going to see Nickleback in Sydney tonight
Decided to try my luck at a totally new beach this morning
Was on the sand by 5am and pouring rain
(I wasnt the only lunatic a couple of surfers turned up as the day broke )

Bunch of ring pulls etc
$3 in spendables , 11 BB's ,1922 commonwealth penny and half penny , 1948 penny , a Britannia penny and half penny
1 florin , 2 shillings , 2 sixpences( one is 1942), 3 threepences and a silver ring

Their pretty well worn , not much point i dont think

Some of those silvers look extremely thin, the elements have not been kind to them - candidates for the smelter!

Im now sitting in front of the heater thawing my feet out.
$8.85 spendables , 14 x2c , 21 x1c , 2 pennys ( 1 brittania , 1 commonwealth) comm half penny , 18 x silvers , silver brooch and a ring(copper i think)

It's great when you have the beach to yourself and then come home to de-thaw - and with a haul like that, it makes it all worthwhile
