Went to check my parsley and capsicums -a bit dry -checked the bom site and had 20 ml of rain. Hard yakka
Our son and daughter in law are expecting their first child, grandchild number four to lift mums spirits. Yippee!

Going out and seeing the tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers all still there with the marigolds basil and rosemary and Capsicums. Still gotta get some seed potatoes.

We have metal screens from an old Cockatiel cage covering the little babies. They are approx. 800mm of the ground.

My brother Mark ( Macka ) is fly back from WA on the 17/3 .Its been a while since I seen him
That's good. You really miss people after being detached for a while. Phone calls are ok but the physical contact is so important.

Just checked our new seedlings and joisus they are enjoying this prolonged watering in. Lettuces smiling. silverbeet laughing, tomatoes healthy as hell, capsicums loving it, cucumbers lapping it up, still to plant the french Marigolds and spuds.
