What Made You Smile Today

What made me smile this morning was getting up at 5.30am and seeing Venus shining in all her glory signalling that the rain has stopped for now, it started about 5pm on Friday and stopped at 2.45 this morning, I couldn't get Venus to show in the photo but you can tell the sky is clear. WooHoo

Some time back when posting a criticism of some wokey idea on facebook, a respondent called me an old parasitic baby boomer who should be jettisoned into space.
It has worried me that he thought so little of me but now I am happy.
It has been announced that molecules of alcohol have been detected in space.

My birthday cards from Miss Kay always make me smile, she buys amazingly well worded cards for all occasions and keeps them to give to the right person at the right time. And yes I was a bit annoying yesterday.

It’s the usual , take mum out for lunch because she can’t on her own. Then we hit the pokies, it’s usually her walking away with a win. This time it was me $700 later I’m that little bit closer to the SDC2300 I want. That made me smile.

Popped into our local NQR supermarket this morning and found boxes of frozen Spring (Chiko) rolls 12 for $10.
two minutes in the MW to defrost them and 10 minutes in the air fryer. A bit of soy drizzled down the inside of the bag and yum - memories.
Going back for a couple more boxes.
