young peach doing well. Rocks at the bottom are to stop chickens digging the mound all up. Thats one of those gold eating Chickens by the way :playful:

a redundant shower area used to try to propogate difficult plants and also grow seedlings that seem determined to die. There is a marcotted Hass advocado that I cut off before roots where developed properly. Seems to be coming around to the fluro light.

last surviving Rhuem noble under fluro light. I managed to kill all my other seedlings. Too much water, too much sun, too little sun. I can see why they are a rare find in peoples gardens now.

gunnera manicata. Its mean to be a weed in some parts but every thing here wants to eat it hence the wire.

Hass advocado. Protection will come off when its established better after next winter.

and lasly.... the new lookout.... a crows nest in our jacaranda tree :)

I think I might even give them a go this year after seeing all those.
I'm just gunna let mine ramble over the top of the mulch under the tree's I recon. And plant cauliflower in the rest of my empty bed.
Mrs S says you can use cauliflower as a substitute for anything... health wise thinking.
just gotta time the bugga's right to miss the butterflies at the crucial big head time...m nothin worse than grubby brassica's :eek:
 
Well I couldn't get cauliflower plants so I've put seed in here
funny hey.... I planted the seeds this morning and one hour later seen the first cacto blastis buttefly of the season lol

cherry tomatoes... one in where the crows nest was.... some others under a mango tree on the edge of the deep mulch.

a bigger crows nest.... destined to end up in under the bowen mango tree once it gets twice as big (perhaps in 10 years from now)
