I had a couple of free hours this morning so went to a site not too far away
It does still get some use by horse events a couple of times a year
Ive been here before ... it has some military history... i even found one of my rising sun badges here
So this time i dug every signal that gave a hint of possibility
Bullet shells always seem to give a scratchy signal
This skull and cross bones is pretty cool , but i dont think its old
Theres not much detail left , but can make out a young Victoria head
It wasnt raining when i got up this morning, so after making a coffee to go , i headed off .... straight into the rain
Oh well, a little water never hurt anyone
It did make it a bit uncomfortable though
But ... i was rewarded
Some good luck there on the silvers Sandta, a cracking hunt, the 1935 shilling is a beauty, only 500000 minted. A few other low mintages there also, you da man. :Y:
Rewarded? More like blessed. What a magnificent hunt, pennies, silvers, brown buggers and enough spendables for a Chinese lunchtime special. What is the little thing pictured with the silvers?
