Well done guys, do I feel a second ctx coming on, seems to hit on the rings pretty damned good? :) Low tides hitting after midnight, so I know all too well why posting at 3.00am. ;)

Thanks for all the positive comments - I wondered if you guys were enjoying our round ups so glad to hear you do!

After a big night last night - Bogan gave me a ring for another day session today - and I was excited to go again.

Here are the finds ...

We will give it some company with the others we found ;). And that's it ... All in all a very productive week!

Rgmhot - Goldpick is spot on - low tides at night are after midnight ... The early bird .....

early bird for sure.

My day down noralunga, well christy beach as the surf club was using the beach. It is the cleanest beach I've been to. Found a foil lid and one bottle top. No other junk.
Hit a small spill $1.30. Found my first wet sand coin, 20c, a few others

A bit of metal in a shape of Australia, a little any way.

Can't seem to add the photo, try later.

I thought I would take a snapshot of my silver count since I got back from my New Zealand holiday at the end of February up until today. Some cleaned up well and others not so plus i have been lazy and left a lot the way they were found. A total of 73

Mate, that's a great collection! It's lot of effort behind it but also lot of fun, I guess.
Keep up the good work and posting your finds here, it's very inspiring.

Thanks mate, have come a long way from the 705. How are you getting on with the ctx?

I enjoy sharing my finds with everyone as others have me the push to become better.

Mmmmmm,.... those stones sure help make that silver look nice ! And what a lovely collection of silver coins,......Treasure to behold.

Ok Bogan got me into some cleaning tonight - here is my small silver/green coin collection I found since end of Feb - 42 coins and a few bits of coins....

Thanks mate, but if your talking about the diamond ring, it's 9k white gold :D

I stand corrected, many appologies(wine doth dull the senses) it be white gold with them numbers fer sure !

Here is my find today(there were others, just not silver) a 1943 silver threepence sunbaker

this was the side facing down with all its chemical crap going on

This thing has been sitting on the surface in a park that used to be a farm since I don't know when !(maybe 1943 haha)
On another occasion a few years ago in the same park I found a six pence directly under the big kids swing down about six inches, apparently I was the only one bothered to dig that deep. oh well,... might as well keep them hey !(that's what I always say).
I hope you fellas don't mind me posting this here ?

Went for a night hunt but didn't find any gold or jewelry - here is what I found minus the junk...

I believe there is a six pence amongst the copper - and yet another lead toy - Pharlap missing some hooves and tail plus a couple of sinkers... Very quiet and still night

Here is the six pence from last night and another today....

Toasty - one is a 1926 and the other is a mystery but looks to be 92% silver. :)

Never ending silvers flowing from you guys, a lot of hard yards have gone into finding those, so the results are justified! :) Tempted to sell the Ace and infinium to fund one good coin detector for both beach and parks. I seem to have detectors of two extremes, one that won't go deep enough, and the other that goes deep, but sees every piece of junk on the beach. :(

So are you going to melt down the crappy condition silvers at the end of the year?
