Heatho mate I could just about say 100% that it is Gold more likely 9k paint....

Anyway I did manage a dig with GDG - Kiara and we pulled in a few Goldies, not a lot of jewellery around but that's okay I had a good month and I reached, well I surpassed the 400 for the month which I am happy about.

The running total for 2018 - 11 Rings - 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Junkers, 1 Toe Ring and $411.20......$2 Pound 50 Pence and Hong Kong $10 All the best and good hunting.

One day of January to go that being today....Weather is overcast with light showers and two beaches haven't been cleaned since last week, one might think they'd have some good finds.... Hmmmmm

Well the first dig for February started off well, not a lot of coins on offer because of the crappy weather but I did manage to hit on a Pandora Rose Ring in a long cut along the beach, it's been in there a while by the look of all the green crud that was on it.
The ring is Silver/Copper and 14K Gold Paint....

Hey Art, I got a Pandora rose ring a while back too, when I read what "rose" is I was a bit disappointed as they actually look the goods.

Finally got out for a dig this weekend with everything settling down after some awesome moments.
Haven't been putting much effort into detecting and only really hitting spots that I think hold the goods...
I saw Ralph again at one of the beaches I do and I know he saw me but he disappeared fast.... Oh well no worries...

Was pretty good considering I was watching the Beach Cleaner go past lol Funny thing was I stopped in home to drop off the loot, and head off to one more beach.
I get there and the fish man is open for business and I thought bugger I never brought any money with me and so I start gridding and not getting anything,
then I remembered the best spot on this beach is right next to the Fish Hut and so I start there and boom $2 and $1 and very quickly I got $7 which is what,
I needed for a kilo of Mussels.....
I walk in and ask for a kilo and then said here you go mate courtesy of the beach lol He looks at me and said I probably dropped the bloody things....
Good fun and the Universe provided me with what I needed, I decided that was good enough for me and made my way home. :Y:

Well I managed to get out for a dig over the weekend and a short dig during the week....Amazing how life can change in an instant but the addiction is still alive and well.
