C.P.P.D disease

any one else in here got .mine is playing up something chronic at the moment .i have an appointment to see the specialist surgeon in toowoomba next month to discuss my MRI scans i had last year . i want to avoid any surgery if at all possible to the point i almost feel like just not going to the appointment .
but sooner or later some thing has to be done i suppose.

it is Calcium Pyrophosphate Deposition Disease (CPPD)
basically its calcium crystals that pool in a fluid and erode or wear away joint cartilage and cause swelling in the area and limit joint movement .
there is no cure as such and there is no drug to dissolve the calcium crystals only drugs to manage the swelling and pain and or surgery to replace the worn out joint after the crystals have done the damage.
