Well well well,.... nice start to it all with that,... a definate sign of really good things to come there.(almost,... a small straight too). :D :D :D

I keep coming back to look at all the silvers again AR :p :p ,.... sooo well done hey ! :D :D :D

Ahahahah cheers mate..me too lol i gave them a little bi carb bath b4 the snaps. The rams head is mint cond. straight from the ground. Started making me wonder.. why? Hiw long did these coins getvused for? Id thought silvers being soo delicate wouod be scratched a lot more!

Aussie ones go from 1910 and were used up untill the change over in 1966,.... last produced in 1964,.... and my lovely neice gave me a florin she got in change while working only just the other year(maybe two years now),.... so it still happens when the kids get em or times get tough, they end up being spent,.... or lostat the park or the beach, sometimes the day they got em , and in brand new condition too. :D

Swung the ace around for an hour at a spot ive done plenty of times as well as a bloke with a 705, and bugger me there was still more. Used coin mode to clear, then jewellery to pick out the alloy tabs :p was meant to get out and meet numpty today, car situation at the moment isnt good and making things rather hard now.

Its seems most the nice fresh green park areas here are absolutely littered with old broken bottle glass and spread junk from many years of activity. Whats useful is most my targets are on the 'level of change' which i date back to at least 1980. Its most gravels and red clays, 8-10" down and holds all the previous decades treasures. At least i can reach those depths now with the 250!! Most the places i detect have had train stations from early 1900s and logging trams from earlier..lots of mess. Ill bring out the sniper soon when i find a good spot again

$0.11 decimal

A Penny - unknown year, the last one i found in this much of a bad condition was 1911. Lots of lumpy spikes over it. Cant even tell if its a roo.

And this strange brass fork thing. I keep thinking the top from a music stand, but its way too solid. I have no idea why i never found this before at the base of a tree ive dug at least 28 times..

Looks like the business end of an old ornate garden fork,.... broken off as someone tried to retrieve their burried treasure(maybe). ;)

Went for a dig with a guy and his 705 today for a couple of hours. Rippa blisters popping up under blistered blisters which made the day interesting. Didnt hit much until our last location by a riverside and i managed to pull two half pennies, one is 1920, other cant read yet. Made $0.33c in decimals. Little old die cast car body was found within on old house location in the dump pile a dozer made years back, the wheels and underside i found 5cm away, so its 95% complete. I pulled heaps out from this hole and many bottles. Cant see a makers mark on the car, suggestions on cleaning so i dont scratch the paint? The wheels are slightly locked from the rusted pin that holds each set like an axle. The tires are a metal as well. Was a hot day and had the 's on.

For the first time i had the ACE go crazy on me due to a gravel used by a golf club and i could detect anywhere near it. If it wasnt the gravel..there was A LOT of foil for the distance of half a football field...
