What VDI can I expect.

I was down the park yesterday & was approached by a bloke asking if I find much? I showed him what I had got so far he then told me of his brother who had lost a silver cross there while doing footy training. The cross was approx 1 inch I don't usually search on playing fields so my question is what VDI can I expect so I can notch out unwanted numbers so as not to dig unnesesary targets. Thanks. Dave.

Silver always rigs up high DL, if it's 925 you could just use a big silver ring to know what you are looking for,... just notch out everything else except what a chunk of 925 shows up as,.... would work the same for any notch able detector(numbers or bars).
Mind you,.. I use an ACE250.

You have an At Pro Dave? Mid 80s and up for silver though small silver coins can be lower. Silver should be a nice, crisp tone.

Yes I use a AT Pro. Unfortunately I do not have a test peice of silver to compare Thanks for the advice. I will keep you in mind Ramjet thanks for the offer I could use some help/advice on the pro at times Cheers. Dave.
