Just got back from a two week stint around Cue/Meekatharra.Weather was excellent and the gold trickled in slowly. It`s amazing what you come across in your travels. One old camp we found would have been excellent in it`s day.Several outbuildings, chook pen,vegi-patch and even a pool to top it off with.
Have now attached a couple of pics .

Cheers

Hi Zengeo.I am using a 5k coupled up to a 14''coiltek elite coil. This is an amazing coil and a permanent fixture at the moment.A mate was using a 7k which left me for dead on the really small pieces under .10gm.
Thanks also Noogle,RM Outback,Upside and Elusive for the comments.

Cheers

Nice gold mate,
Never heard of Murchison but looks like its a winner !
My detecting mate with his 7k always seems to out do me too  lol

Hi all,

heading up that way on Wednesday but going further north to visit my son in the Pilbara. Hope to have a bit of a fossic on the way home.

Best regards
Steve

Hope you had a bit of a scratch in the old chook pen.
Well known fact that Chooks pick up gold.
And then drop it in the Pen. :D

Never even thought of the chook pen, will keep that in mind when I re-visit the area.Have heard of people checking out any emu`s caught up in fences though.

Cheers

Phil
