The big one ?

Very faint signal on the top by the time i had got down a foot i was convinced it was a big nugget ! at 2' 6" i was planning on what i was going to do with it, the signal was still at the bottom of the hole! Racing ? my heart went from tachycardial to flatline when I saw the piece of metal at the bottom . ended up with one piece for the night 0.27. Poor consolation, All part of the fun !, the next one might be that big one !!

Yes these new fangeled machines!!!!, gets you digging big holes for little specks of gold. . At least it was gold not a chunk of steel. Mick

At least you went home with a little rattle in your jar mate
A lot of us have dug a lot of deep holes for rubbish
My deepest is 5 foot for a old timers shovel head
I dug it bout 4 foot wide also
The spot I was digging
I had the nugget sold before getting to it :lol:
But just before Christmas my mate got a deep target that turned out to be a 1.2 kg speci
With just over 0.75 kg of gold in it
At about 3 foot deep
And I've watched him dig a lot of deep holes for rubbish !
