Yea, had a ring broken off the back. Could be a police district or maybe military regiment.

Found my second Chinese coin last weekend, this one is about the size of a florin but about half ss thick. Was looking for an old water race in a tin mining area but massive washouts on the track turned me back.

Looks like that one was pretty old when it was bought to Australia. Pretty amazing workmanship for something made over 300 years ago.

Had a couple of nice days out in the bush before winter returned with a vengeance! Think that's a sovereign holder...... unfortunately empty, a rubber stamp handle and a couple of interesting buckles including my first cricket one. Also pretty happy with my first intact ink bottle

Drove a fair way for one button and a dozen tiny bits of gold in the pan but is a nice spot for a drive anyway.
