Went to a local park that I have been over at least 50 times today.
But it is close and handy so I thought why not.
Ran the detector around a park bench and the 705 gave an id of 36.
thinking it must be a squashed top or similar but thought might as well check it out.
Just under the surface and what I thought was a 5cent piece.
Oh well in my pocket and run the detector over the area again to see why such a high reading and nothing.
Take the 5 cent piece out of my pocket throw it on the ground run the 705 over it and 36 is the id.
Take another look at it with my aging eyes and its a 1921 sixpence.
Happy with that and a couple of $1 coins and a $2 to go home with.
Not a very clear pic but that's how it came out of the ground.
Cheers rod.
