I've started this topic with newbies in mind, just to give them and other forum users an idea of what we prefer as our favourite/most utilised detector and related accessories (coils etc), putting a face to a name so to speak. Obviously don't post if you don't want your gear exposed to the world, and please only post one detector, not your whole collection - this is not a gear show off topic.

If you have a screened detector, a shot of the screen in operation would be great for newbies to become familiar with (backlit or non backlit). If your detector deconstructs easily, that would also be good to see with regards to portability.

Variety is the spice of life, so hopefully we can see some of the less well known or used detectors out there, always interesting to see.

This is open to all types of detectors, ages and usages, no matter how cheap or expensive. :)

My main rig for general purpose park and beach detecting is the Minelab Explorer SE Pro, a now discontinued model.

My go to detector for basic treasure hunting at the moment is still the Aldi, will upgrade soon but keep feeling I don't need to, but I do really, I need more depth on the beaches and something a little more accurate descimination wise. For an entry level detector if certainly works andhas paid itself off many times over.
