Hi all .... just getting back into it after a loooooooooooong break!

I'm in Gladstone Central Queensland and swung an ML XT17000 (thats how long my break was) ......

The XT was always good in hot ground and around overhead wires but will get myself a GPX5000 and keep the xt as a backup/spare.

Anyone on the forum from around here?

Hey Rotor, welcome & likewise I had a fair long break. Still have my GP3500 but now looking to play on the gems. I am based in Bundy and have a reasonable knowledge of the local stuff out to Cania but not so much up your way.

G'Day Ben, thx for the welcome. I plan to have a look and a bit of a dig out at the gemfields myself! Haven't pointed the detector at anything in 15 years but am looking forward to getting back it.
