Heading to GT for 1 week

Hi all

I am going south for 1 week in september. Not sure which week and waiting for weather forecasts.
Have SDC2300
Any one got any advise on where to strat.

The guys at MineLab in Bendigo said to drop in there and they will give me some mud maps so that is the only plan i have at present.
Probably not going to camp out so will check out accommodation depending on any advice i get.

I don't have much experience (except for digging rubbish)

Or if anyone else has anything going on in Sept would be good to go as well.

You can get accomodation next door to miners den, think its called bendigo log cabins
You can get your own cabin or go dorm style cheaper if money is a bit tight

Hoping September is a bit warmer, surely couldn't be colder than sofala and nundle over the last few weeks. (Could it)
