At least you know what direction they went and how far by where they spent the money, and you know what one of the cars they're driving looks like(your sons car)
Get it onto Facebook and call them the Christmas bandits(people like a good hunt with purpose), so get the people on side as fast as possible( it's newsworthy for sure.... but do the facebook thing first so you can quote that to the news reporters) more people that can know quicker the better.

Recon that might be your best chance as police are only a tool in these cases as well as what you can do for yourself(ya gotta be a lot smarter than these pr@$ Muk
Feeling for ya's mate

A great incentive would be for the government to give residents a grant to purchase and install security cameras.
Fortunately a camera caught a low life scaling a fence here in WA before raping a 7YO in her bedroom.
The low life mongrel is now behind bars waiting trial. Hopefully he will get life!!!

Goodbye 2021 & hello 2022.

May this year bring each & every one of you & your families good health & great times. And also lots of yellow!

To quote Coldplay:

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah, they were all yellow

Thanks all for your thoughts have found sons car been trashed inside clutch burnt out but other than that just a few dints here and there no keys bottles of paint inside obviously been sniffing it has been picked up by smash repair shop. Other than that they have our other cars keys with house keys on it Ive been going around making rods to drop in behind doors and windows as my missus said she will not be sleeping until all locks have been changed.Police have been great but hands are tied can only help when incident reported but by then it is to late. We are to scared to leave our place as we have a lot of contents worth a lot of money and insurance companys hard to deal with on company housing were you move about due to different jobs. My detectors are worth $ 17000 alone and to replace new well over $20000 also bows & arrows $10000 how do we leave the house even for work? Its all fd up last year we got done over on our house in vic with everything stolen now this pretty fd up police are telling us to put something at entry points that will make a noise. Im at the stage that I will have something waiting that will make a Big Bang and I will suffer the consequences. Its all fd do your best for community & and family and have to put up with this bullshit Im at the age I couldnt give a shit what happens to me but any intruder is going to feel the pain happy new year cheers muk.

I've had my 7 garden beds delivered. Now it's getting the right stuff to make it useful. My friend acros the road has offered to supply the best Veg. soil he has. He owns a flower nursery and a "Rock and Soil business. Things are looking good.

Maybe ask him if you can see some veggie gardens that have used his soil.... although if your a fertiliser user it probly matters naught.

Ask him if it is nutgrass free too.... blind Freddy up the road from me got garden soil that turned out to be full of nut grass, they said there was nothing they could do for him because he must have already had nutgrass there(load a bull). Just saying that ya still need to be careful as you go. :perfect:

He's a very nice bloke and we have faith in his product compared to the commercially bagged crap. I might ask for a mix with perlite in it. It's only for the top 12" of soil mix. Our soil here is very well leached of all nutrients. There are 7 beds to fill. I'll be using defunct palm fronds, sugar cane mulch then mushroom compost followed by
the topsoil mixed with lots of Yates Dynamic Lifter soil improve pellets. After planting I'll cover the new babes with more sugar cane mulch and water well.

Got a bloke at work we call nutgrass. Once he starts you cant get rid of him.

Merry Christmas and happy new year to everyone, wishing you all a better 2022 than 2021. I hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxed one and managed to put the turmoil going on around us aside for awhile. To go with this is a long Christmas epic for Mr Moneybox. (I know its late but Im very busy still behind on the Darwin blogs lol). If you enjoy comics there are enough pictures tell the story, lol. Cheers.

This 2021 Christmas present for Phil has been in the making since November 2019. Yes, 2019. We had been in Cue a year and the shed was as usual. a raging mess, still largely unpacked, definitely not sorted and there was often the exasperated bleat of Where is it?! or words to that effect {) .

So in my not-so-wisdom I decided I would tidy the shed up for Christmas. 2019 that is. Little did I know how difficult and time-consuming it would be. Two and a bit years in fact with non-stop projects going on in the middle of it. Its been a massive undertaking and Phil has helped so much especially with the sorting of the myriad bits and bobs. The best thing was the regular finds of lost items which now have a place to stay in.

I started by opening some boxes lying in the middle of the floor only to encounter more boxes within boxes and so on. And inside them were small packets of mixed nuts, bolts, washers and other things and stuff. Hundreds of them!! The missing ingredient was shelving. There was a bit wed already put in place when we arrived but I must admit a lot of that was taken up with old bottles so I had to sort that out at the same time.

1641192931_img20200131182103.jpg

I decided that the first step was to make more shelving and in a collaborative effort we rummaged through the stuff brought up from Capel and dug out some material to construct them with. Its amazing how quickly a job can get done just by starting it and seeing some early progress. A couple of days and the new shelving along a side wall was finished.

Then it was time to tackle the boxes of boxes. Even the socket sets had spider webs in them. There many items covered in grease and oil which took a while to clean up. I actually found a big bag of coloured plastic sorting bins and trays from Capel. Thank goodness those came with us. Every conceivable bench and table was covered in stuff for weeks at a time when I was in the mood to work on it. Meals at the table were non-existent it gave true meaning to tv dinners, lol. Christmas 2019 came and went and I felt like I hadnt made a dent in the tidy up. I was upset I have to say.

I was really enthusiastic at the start of the project but sorting of the many nail, bolt, screw and washer types and sizes began to wear off after awhile. It was driving me nuts. After every trip or other project I would get back into it. I actually rediscovered a screwdriver Phil had used to stir molten gold with. still with its golden tip. Cool.

But as it happened Christmas 2020 also rushed by at breakneck speed. Rats. Now I was feeling miserable and wondered whether it would ever be completed.
Last year I didnt go prospecting but stayed to work at the local heritage centre. That gave me time to work on the shed and I finally managed to get it completed on Christmas eve 2021. Phew. If it gets messy now then tough Mr Box.

As the temperature is regularly in the 40s I also convinced Phil to instal the whirligig we had had for a few years. What a difference that made.

The shed is comfortable enough to work in now. The shed project had a couple of metamorphoses on the journey to get to where it is most practical now and Im happy with the result. Phil had better be. Ive done as much as I can (or want to) at this point. Tool boards will have to wait. maybe another two years, lol.

Merry Christmas, my love.. eventually, hehehe. :inlove:
