When I had my gallbladder out I asked the surgeon if he could give me the snip while he was about it. He said he had never been asked that before, but would be happy to oblige, provided the gall bladder op went well. "It only takes 10 mins," he said.
Anyway, my gall bladder was more diseased than expected, but he still did the snip.
The next morning the two old and experienced nurses were highly amused, and asked me what hurt the most. There was no contest - I could not feel the wedding tackle, and I could not stand up straight for a week from the gall bladder. When they took the drain out it felt like a meter or so of guts were being removed.
Luckily Mrs Duck still likes some acton, otherwise it would have been all in vain. That's something to consider, because not all blokes are as lucky as me in that regard!
