I didnt know metal detecting existed until 2 months ago.... I was free camping, and someone had a machine..... I asked a lot of questions.... next day, I bought Equinox 800.
Joined a club.... looked at forums, and watched a lot of youtube videos... I now only watch the Australian ones to get the vdi numbers.
I go out nearly every day.... local suburban parks. Lots of trash, but found 70 coins in 6 weeks..... happy!
I hope the digging gets easier once it has rained.
