That's a nice piece there Dan76, look forward to seeing how your higbanking efforts go

Cheers

Finally got chance to visit Oallen ford yesterday, working at Bass point for a few months so will be fossicking every second weekend and go home on the others. All up about 6 hrs panning yesterday, slow going b4 lunch- only 4-5 specs per pan, so moved closer to causeway. Flood gold in more profusion- 20-25 specs per pan. Showed a few young uns some pointers as well.

Got about the same Sunday morning 5-8 grams weigh up tomorrow or so .

nice pick of location on that hole youre making colmaca . seems to be a good return for the cubes of dirt you put through.

onya

stop work and give yourself a treat when you hit the 10 ounce mark next week ;)

did you choose that spot by test panning or detector work ?

Unreal pics there Colmaca,

That looks like a really good spot. Perfect ground to run a dry blower, have you ever thought about this? You could dig and process all in the same spot.

Cheers,

I have given a dryblower I thought but I do love My Walbanker shower after at 1100lt/min washes that red dirt right off..

Would be interesting to compare the recovery rate between the two, highbanker verse dryblower. With not having to take the pay dirt to water to process more ground could be put through the blower so I reckon any inefficiency of the blower would be made up with more yellow. :D

I dream of ground like that

cheers

Ha... now I understand your previous comment about the shower from the walbanker...fair call :)

Definitely sounds like a cool winters day sort of job. Is this anywhere near Cloncurry by chance?
