My brother and I were going to visit You in Australia for three or four months. Just had information that You have there are still those places where there were few people. As would far from cities and civilization. And here I thought that in such places and have to go))
Of course there are dangers everywhere. For example I'm not afraid of bears, wolves and other animals that we have in the forest)) But I can't imagine what will happen to me from being in a place where a lot of spiders and snakes))

There are still a lot of remote places in Australia Pavel but most gold producing areas have been very well explored and prospected. If you come to Australia you will enjoy the visit but would be lucky to find much if any gold.
I have visited St Petersburg for a few days and found most people there to be friendly but there were still a lot that could not be trusted, this is not as much a problem in Australia. Australians have a much higher standard of living than the people we met in St Petersburg so the crime rate is much less and probably closer to the area you live.
Australians on average are also much softer than our Russian friends, few people I know could handle the living conditions of the average Russian.

I agree. The standard of living is very different.
In the East of Russia the average salary in terms of your money $ 800 per month.
I have my own business. I'm the Director of the training center. 8 branches in the district.
My salary is $ 4,000. And still not enough))
3 children, one grandson, three wives))
But do not think that this is all wrong, the three wives)) of course Not.
Just so happens in life, I'm not abandoning those who were beside me and walked with me through life hand in hand.
So we have to constantly work in the taiga and look for gold))
Even when on the street -20 we search for and find))
If it is even colder outside , the metal detector will not work.
And if it worked - we would be at - 30 looking for gold)) :D :D :D

And this is my photo at the jewelry factory. I used to be a Director at a big jewelry factory. It's called tree)) On each bit of jewelry. Then after melting bite off the side cutters. White Christmas tree is 58.5% pure gold+ zinc or palladium. For yellow gold overlays.
On a photo about 5 kilograms of products.

The plant had to be closed. There was a crisis and few people bought jewelry in 2014 - 2017.

I was just a jeweler, fashion designer and gemologist (a Specialist in diamonds, sapphires and rubies and other stones).
It just happened in life))

At those prices your money would go further than ours.
In Sydney a 3 bedroom, 100 square meter apartment would be 1 to 1.5 million dollars.
Rent for that apartment would be $1000 per week.
Cigarettes are $40 a packet.
Gas is $1.50 ltr.
Housing is cheaper as you move further away from the cities but still expensive, we live 300km nth of Sydney and our average home is worth about $700,000.
Average wage in Australia is about $65,000 a year.

Thanks for sharing Pavel.
In Australia we have a high standard of Living with higher then world average weekly incomes but a proportionally higher cost of living as well .
Smokes $20 + for a pack of 20 sticks
Spirits $40+ 700ml bottle
Petrol $ 1,40 >1,60 a litre
Gas Water & Electricity way too expensive .
Housing now is almost unaffordable to rent or buy in any of the major cities and getting more expensive everybwhere else.
Dinner for 3 at KFC $45 ..
We are a big island continent with some of the worlds lagest deposits of valuable resourses butb we are small population of 25 million , many work and pay taxes many dont work and still find a way to live on the governments payments they receive.
For most of us here on the forum, prospecting and fissicking is a passionate pastime we enjoy to get away from it all and get out amongst nature and get back in touch with nature and our selves.

Like you in Russia our politicians and others that infuence them are making it harder and harder to go out and practice our hobby ..
Here where I live in NSW we can no longer use petrol pumps to run our small high bankers something that we could do until recently and in some states they are closing or restricting access to land where we can prospect for gold or other presious minirals.

If you ever do decide to visit Australia for 3 months , i think you will have a great time getting out bush looking for gold. You might not find riches But you would take home a wealth of memories.

Mate thats not fair tricking the Russian guy , we locals know that drop bear is drunk , the drunk ones are harmless because they fall down and cannot run to catch their prey .

The drop bears who didnt drink any fermented eucalyptus oil are dangerous , they can hide , run fast and bite your arms off like grizzly bear.

Please , be honest for the tourists !

yep...come and visit Australia pavel...I live here and have just finished doing the big lap..[went all the way around]
...alot to see...alot of nice people..good food..and we all like a good story and a beer..or 5...I would like to say we are a very friendly mob... :D
..and yes it would be a struggle to get big gold here ..but you never know ...?? we were always to busy being tourists because of to many things to see..
...also you will need a different prospectors license in each state that you wanna go prospecting in..
..also you've also gotta pick what time of year you wanna be here...
...in summer you would wanna be down south... NSW..VIC.the bottom end of WA.or go to tassie... [go see some devils] as alot of places in the far north are very hot and very wet and are impassable...some places are just closed ...come the winter the top ends of the country are more forgiving...
...I also wanna say that anyone that can live in an an environment that can get below minus 30 deg and have 3 wives is a real tough guy who has truly got his sh@t together.. .... Im cold if it is 15 deg c....LOL...I hope that none of us has put you off on your traveling plans pavel....dave...

he certainly has access to good gold.

Imagine what he would get if he refined his washdown sluice to catch fine gold too...

Truth in prospecting ;....

95 % of detectorists in Australia never find a nugget over half an ounce.

80~ % of prospectors never find enough gold to pay for their equipment , food and fuel , but the exercise and fun has value.

40 - 50 % of detectorists never find more than a few grams in years of detecting.

99 % of politicians think prospectors are filthy rich and hiding kilograms of gold under the bed , they have goldfever and they didnt even go prospecting yet !
