At a track in real time watching Top Fuel dragsters is bloody awesome, anything the can go from a standing start to over 500k/h in less than 400 metres is well Awesome, and who cares if it uses 60 litres of fuel to do it, there not built for fuel economy

Used to go to Calder to watch nationals every year, those top fuellers are something else.

In the early days before public liability and such nonsense you could lean in on the ropes around the all the vehicles and every now and again they would fire up a top fueller engine and have us all in tears from the fumes. 8.(

Have to agree. I used to like watching some of the Australian 'reality' shows (not going to name them but you can guess) and lately they have just divulged into people chasing each other around or yakking on radios. I might be well wrong, but I just can't see two (or more) people calling each other on a bloody radio and running like lunatics every time someone comes across a signal. More running around in circles then detecting.
