I got out for a swing at wattle flat today
For four hours
I doesn't matter how much I flog the areas there
The way the gold is spread around everywhere
I always manage a bit here are today's results

So all in all it was a good day in the bush
And found some gold to top it off :)

Great looking ground and even better looking gold :D, well done.

What detector are you using there?

Great result for such a short session there Lbg....did you need that beer to blend in with the other golfers today...??? ;) best of luck on the next dig..Cheers Wal. :)

Thanks guys
@ nugget i use a 45 / sd2000 and whites gmt e series
Normaly I swing the 45 but like to use the others now and then
They all have there purpose amongst
My kit :)

No golfers there wal
But there was an old bloke out there panning
And asked if he could follow me round while I detect
He's been going there 30 years
I said why not
He was offering me beer also :D
And was shocked when the first bit came out
The best he's got is a grammer
He didn't expect me to find any
And has seen a lot swinging out there that don't
:)

Great to see that you put a smile on the old blokes' face...you probably made his day. :) If he's been panning out there for 30 years I'd say he would have some pretty interesting yarns. Always love chatting with the older locals...they're nearly always down to earth folk....good luck on the next swing.Cheers Wal. :)

It's good to see someone getting some yellow I am off to the creek on Friday to get some buckets of material to run through my little high banker when it arrives. I've got all the buckets full at the moment and I'm off to some building site to get some more, I'll have plenty to run when I am finally able to. Keep up the good work Lbg

Hey kem.....you trying to bring the mountain back to your place..?? lol. :) neighbors will think your building a new levee for when the next rains come....hope you've got a good sane explanation for them :) ...ohh...and hope those buckets are full of gold...Cheers Wal. :)

well done! Great to see the gold it makes everyone want to get back out there! :)

ranma

Spot on Kem,
I just ran a couple of buckets thru yesterday and got a little color.
My neighbours usually come over with a beer in hand and the usual chinwag about anything that is happening, just general chatter.
Good to have good neighbours.
I am up to 1.34g for 4 bkts.
Lbg, nice gold, gotta get the 4500 swinging again.
Cheers
Brad...

I've just put the bigger iron stone speci
In acid
After looking at it under the loup
It looks like its got a little quarts
Amongst it
With a nugget and finer gold separated
So I'll take it back to nearly all quarts and see what happens
As the hydrochloric won't touch the quarts
Like Allbright does :)
I like to see what's inside a speci
Unless there a real nice one
I'll dolly or melt em
I'll post a photo of the end result

Hey Wal and Brad I'm getting a bit of landscaping done with the leftovers but I love gettig out and panning after work. :) I find it's a good way to unwind and relax. Lbg if you want to blend in out there maybe you could invest in one of those motorised buggy's. :D
