Southern Highlands area.

Hi all
I am from the Southern Highlands area, I am new to metal detecting and using my river sluice.
I have a Minelab x terra 705 gold. I am still working out xterra but loving every second. I am hoping to find other people in the Southern Highlands to do metal detecting with.
I have only been detecting on the beaches down Wollongong way.
Will be going to Tuena in 3 weeks time for the weekend to give the river sluice a go.
I have lots to read on this site so I will be busy learning from others and get ideas.

Jamie's I will let you know when I am heading down your way. I will be going to Tuena on the 17th for 3 days. I will try to get more gold with my sluice and swing the 705 around.

Welcome to PA, my son's runs a 705 and loves it, took him a while to figure it out but once he had he started finding pieces of gold on mullock heaps.
