Hello All

I looking for some technical advice please

I am in Central QLD.

I would like to Skype my elderly mother in a Nursing Home in Sydney.

Possibly a smart tv with internet.

problem is, an application that is simple for her to access and use

If you both have Android smart phones (eg Samsung) then just download the skype application from the Google Play store, install it, setup a username and away you go.

If you have iPhone then the apple app store should have a version of Skype for the apple software system, ios.

Mate, the schools are using this soon.

https://zoom.us/

You can get it free, it is a video conferencing software and it has apps for Ipads and Android, pc and maybe 'smart TV'
There are tutorials on the website for new users.

You run it as the "host", send a txt to Mum containing the Web link and code, she clicks it and is into the webinar...once she inputs the code,
there may be other avenues to make it easier, check out the tutorials.

You can have multiple users online at the same time, multiple family members etc.
Preset times calendar, one code or separate codes for each session.

Just a txt away at any time.

:)
