Shady creek today

I had a look at shady creek today ,got access to the creek on patrol road. The creek is full of silt and it is deep the water is muddy looking ,did not find anything.
The only thing the silt had in it was rotten wood and leaves and the silt smells bad. would need to dig a deep hole to find anything.
