Hey guys,

Has anyone tried using these over the top of some gold catching door mats in a sluice or high-banker.

Keen to give it a go but thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has tried it.

hey Daniel,

Ive seen heaps of people using this stuff, and yes ive used it as well, its a bit hit and miss goes really hard in the cold water personally i dont like it but you know what its cheap and it will catch gold.

you cant beat a bit of expanded metal over some ribbed rubber mate

Funny...I spent 20 mins in the Bunning door mat section yesterday looking at every design. (must get life!)

Someone going to figure out the best design and start mass producing these soon. There's so much stuff at bunnings.

Ahh ok... just looking for something cheap and easy until I can afford to make a bigger unit.

You can get alluminum from bunnings and with a hacksaw and pop rivet gun can make some good riffles.

I used the top one it the top part my bunnings sluice with the matting second half . Dropped a .3 gram with a bucket sand and here is what happened 2nd part

2nd run from start

I collect quite bit find gold in this .

Hibanker better to use the walbanker method bread crate as I'm getting good gold with that now
