On the hustings tonight , and with the rain about keeping things cool , I decided to use the ctx with the large coil for some dry sand gridding . A bit of coinage about , but the highlight of the night was a silver and Amber pendant . Followed by a Pandora and a small silver ring . Here are the picks . Happy hunting .

The pendant is very nice. I've never found amber before. It's cool stuff - sometimes you can see bugs floating around inside.

Out on the hustings last night with the 3030 down the local . With showers rolling in with the onshore breeze I decided to focus on some park areas I had not detected in a while , hoping for some pre-decs amongst the softer ground . Unfortunately not much to report on that front , but the spendables were enough to keep me interested . The earring and belly button stud are costume , and ended the night with an stone that set the detector off . Looks like there is a bit of metal encased in it - so have it suiting in a cab to see what it is . Anyways here are the pics .

Out and about tonight with a weather system brewing of the coast clearing the beaches of people and detectorists , gave me plenty of time to choose spots and take time to grid them. Surprised with the coinage about being a Tuesday , and another silver ring for a some reward for effort . Detectors used were both the Knox and CTX depending on location . Duration of tonights hunt was 2 hours split between 2 spots . Anyways here are the pics .
