Im still learning but have done ok so far, I just wish I had more spare time to be out prospecting and fossiking :)

I have done a bit a sapphire bend you will find some blue there 100% you will see the wash layer in almost every hole out there just choose one and start digging there's heaps there a lot of small stuff but good enough to get excited to go back. There's an old fella there who lives at black springs "Tex" he will most likely say hello and he will help you out too! Just remember take you rubbish with you :)

I can't open those sites Greg?
Yeah haven't quite figured out how to share links and stuff lol
You might have seen the reports already for Sb on digs, got a few on I book now lol
One was a map of test holes and wash depths for ml806
And a few pics of the wash plant they used

I live in the forest at Black Springs and would be happy with a club weekend. If I don't get a good feeling or if I find you disrespecful you'll be out in a second. Ask digginholes and heatho, I''m easy to get along with. There's been colour found, and camping is sweet. I won't ask for $$$ but I wouldn't say no to any craft beer, commercial beer unaccepable currency :D
edit, I'm not organizing but will agree to weekend if I'm available
Hey Matturbo,How has the bend been lately ? Been years since I've been there.goi g to do a few weeks at Xmas there. How are the tracks mate..

Unfortunately, Matturbo's posts were made back in 2016 and he hasn't been back to PA since 2018, so I don't expect you'll get an answer from him, Dan.

A poster here says that the local council may be helpful:

Also, you'll need to get a fossicking permit:
