I have done a bit a sapphire bend you will find some blue there 100% you will see the wash layer in almost every hole out there just choose one and start digging there's heaps there a lot of small stuff but good enough to get excited to go back. There's an old fella there who lives at black springs "Tex" he will most likely say hello and he will help you out too! Just remember take you rubbish with you

Unfortunately, Matturbo's posts were made back in 2016 and he hasn't been back to PA since 2018, so I don't expect you'll get an answer from him, Dan.
