There's a great vid on youtube on how they make the Audi R8... Aluminium frame just tacked together then fully robot welded... Robotic welding is so much better than Human welding...

the electric car conversion, getting more attractive every day, just imagine converting you old car to an electric car , 150hp electric donk motor controller battery bank and charging but i have had a geek at the registration process in new south wales , if you did a conversion , ambiguous info on rego and the safety requirements like air bags and stuff, if you had an old vw or ford cortina or the like could you do it then legally use it ,,,, :flowers: might be in the high banker category lol
