Had arranged to have lunch today with Ken. So Iget clear of the Latte set going through Berry and I'm like 16 K's or so outta Nowra when I jump on the Radio on Ch. 25.i'm not expecting a reply at that distance but I hope I looked really cool to on coming traffic! 
Blimey! Iget a gargled response..I'ts 7.62!...As I travel south I'm reading him loud and clear..I have expectations of the coffeE pot being hot and fresh and I pull into the spare block next door to Ken's place.
We shake hands for the first time EVER!.His Taller than I imagined and has deep brown eyes.His handshake is firm and welcoming and I like him straight away..We have coffee..I'm attacked by this huge dog who jumps into my lap and wer'e chew'in the fat!..we go out and visit 'turtle'..who is very much imfirmed..but with the attention of specialist in the coming days I'm confident He/She will be good as new.
So to lunch and a very pleasent ale..more chat..of gold of course, then back for coffee..and the dog attacks me once more...hehe.. cutest little doggie I've seen in a long time and smart as!
The thing is.. I came home with a whole lot more than I went with..both in terms of material things and intangible things.. like the sense of well=being you get when you cement a friendship with a gentleman who you feel will be a mate for the forseeable future.
Thank you Ken for your Hospitality and the few things that frankly ..will come in very useful to me.
