hey all Hamish here
just joined the forum today
am a young fella very new to the art of prospecting only been doing it for a few months now with my brother..
living up in cooktown far north queensland or gangaar by the local language ( meaning place of rock crystal )
definitely find heaps of super clear quartz pieces here some sapphire too

also do a bit of gold detecting up in the palmer river(have permission from lease holders) found nice nuggets and crushed rock to produce fine gold.. but thats more my brothers side of things i prefer finding gemstones.

anyway thought i drop this in to introduce myself
will definitely be lurking amongst the forum from here on in very keen on soaking in all the knowledge.
