G'Day all. I have just found this page - its great.
I live in Canberra and have been prospecting most of my life, both professionally (as a mining company geologist and for a hobby now). Mostly alluvial prospecting and mining history in southern NSW and Victoria but I get around most of the country for work at mining and exploration locations. Glad to help out if anyone has any questions.
Currently work as a geologist and mining advisor for the Government in charge of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for diamonds (anyone see the movie Blood Diamonds?) we are the blokes that catch the bad guys.
Panning, highbanking, sluicing and generally haveing a good time on the river or creeks in the local region.
