160 years ago to day ....
Peter Lalor and the boys had a bit of a blue with the Traps...
The blue only lasted 20 or so minutes and 20 odd miners were dead....
Makes you think .....

Too bloody right lads. The traps and the queens red coats. A day that shaped our history in this great state and not a bloody word.

Napthine gave a few hundred grand towards celebrations in Ballarat and good job, but since he lost the election, not a whimper from the new labor govt.

Shame, shame, shame

We remember you diggers and we swear under the southern cross to stand truly by each other, to defend our rights and liberties.

Long live the prospectors and thanks for the post Jim.
