Back at the honey hole today, it's still producing. Got a couple of sixpence, a shilling and yet another silver ring before I packed up and went to Barney's house for a beer. Was too cold and windy for detecting.

They are certainly worth looking for GP, there are a few for sale, most are around $5000. I had a chat with a few coin dealers this morning and 2 were not interested but 2 were and still said it's theoretically worth some $$$, one suggested just doing some good photos and putting it on ebay with a small reserve and seeing what it fetches. I might put a reserve of $100 or something or maybe even just $1 and see how it goes.

Still have it Mike, haven't sold any of my detecting finds. I've only cashed in the modern coins I've found.

Quick hunt before the soccer games started this morning, only got about 45 mins in. Scored a sixpence, 2 penny's, and $3. Was only just getting into thje "zone" and had to quit as the players wanted their oval back.

Was a bit of a miserable day for a swing but still got out for a couple of hours in the drizzle. Scored a penny, half penny, 2 sixpence, $12 and a whole lot of BB's.

Back at the same spot continuing on from the previous hunt, getting bored with this spot but it's still producing the goods.

Got a nice 42 Florin there today as the last target before the field was innundated with screaming school kids for Wednesday sports......

All the Florin needed was a quick rub with bi-carb to put a bit of shine back on it, the other 2 silvers were from a couple of days ago, I left them in a CAB for 3 days to get the baked on crud off them, they came up quite nice. The other silver I scored today is in a CAB now too.

Was pretty happy with it GP, it's one of the older Florries from this site, nearly all have been post 1946, good to get a sterling one for a change.

Not quite AR but my pre dec silver coin bowl is getting full.

Almost time to cash in the coin container again, must be easy $1000 in there, sweet. I have 2 lots of car insurance to pay so it's very welcome.
