saw this on another forum im apart of and they are going to have coloured $2 being put into circulation through woolies for the Olympics

Doesn't sound like they're being put into circulation to me bogan, I bet they sell them for more than $2 each too. I wouldn't be expecting them in the change unless they say so for certain ,.... we can all be full optimism though, I'd like to see it pan out as change money being handed out.
Someone somewhere would have to be having a way of making money on the deal, wonder coles and aldi ain't kickin up a stink about it not being them.

16 million coins is a fair old number to issue, pity they weren't in more limited numbers to make them more desirable to the collector.

i think what will make people want them is that the coin dealers and flippers wont be able to pick them all up - the general public will have a go and hoard them making them worth more
