Coin/medallion???

Found this today right next to a comm penny and a Brit penny...

As you can see it is bigger than a 2 cent piece and a lot thinker than a hp. I can only make out a little of the writing on one side which says "have you".

Almost looks like it is plated in gilt or similar colour. Very heavy too.

Got it soaking atm but would love to find out anything in the mean time.

My take is that it reads 'God Save You' and image is a WW1 soldier
