And a few very recent finds. All from old areas, Zed, sP01, and pretty much factory settings, low Sensitivity about 6-7.

Just back today from a 2400 km. round trip up to Oodnadatta. I spent 3 nights at Algibuckana bridge and got onto a patch away from the main trashy spots. Got an even dozen pieces for 4.2 gms., needless to say, very satisfying.

An added bonus was that this young dingo wandered past and decided to hang around and keep me company.

Great find Anthony, highly unusual to me,like petals to a flower,
what detector did you use and at what depth did you find them?
Certainly look like corn flakes. :Y:

Gday all

The weather forecast was pretty ordinary for the southern goldfields this weekend so I wanted to try my luck up north.
I always wanted to try out Wedderburn, Kingower, Dunolly area but kept on driving up to Wedderburn.
It was the first time up that way and I was surprised that there was a lot of rubbish in the area  after about 2hrs swinging the big arse 19 inch I got a good signal.
only about 7 inch deep I dug a beauty little nugget :D

If Im finding junk in this area there must be some big slugs lurking around there somewhere :Y: :D

BigWave in all honesty all you got to do is walk over it and thats not with a 45,5000 or a Z. A ATX Garrett would find 98% of the gold that I have found.
A good mate of mine owns a ATX and Ive proven that it would find most of the gold that I have found but he doesnt have the right frame of mind to find it and some fellow prospectors from PA know what Im talking about. Just got to stay focused and you will find what your looking for.

Lovely piece, I've been in Wedderburn for a week now and haven't been able to find one of those. Scored about 30 odd little ones just can't score a good one.
