Awesome work Dam it, I will check out when I am there, looks like a grave I hope you left something buried in it ;)

Well done
I am going to be up there Saturday so fingers crossed.
Last time I was there I got an 1855 penny token.
I left another signal nest to the hole as I had to make tracks.
looking forward to seeing if the old timer dropped anything else.

Scotty

Hopefully this is the right place to put this :)

Bought the 2300 Wednesday afternoon. Went to Jupiter creak today and actually found some gold. It was really weird as I had never detected for gold before and the first piece actually shocked me as I didn't really know if it was gold :)

So I gave it a lick, yep its yellow.
Swirled it around in my mouth, yep that's great. Tastes like dirt :)
Then nearly swallowed the bloody thing.
Still looking at it, mmm is it gold Pfft no idea. Ok il put it in my wallet just in case.

So later on, I go through the same process mmm . Two of them :0

So onwards, bloody hell. Same process. Then I finally dawns on me. I have found gold. Ya bloody HOOOOO. :)

Hahaha very good Dewalt, congratulations, I was there today too, by the police training area. I found, 2 parts of a press stud, a .22 shell, a nest of bull ants.....that hurt! And a couple bits of small metal, oh and a close encounter with a snake.
Not very productive, but got me out for the morning.
cheers,
Paul

I got a target in a bull ant nest....hope it wasnt the one I abandoned.
well done for recovering the yellow stuff.

That's a great effort on your first time out with the SDC.
Some people take months to find gold when they start to detect.
Well done and congrats!
Awesome effort.
Cheers Dignit
