just wondering how much cash would you need for a trip from vic to wa? For around 2 weeks on a detecting outing, drive to and from stay in tents... Recommendations from Other people who have done it, and what would you do different? Looking at the Kalgoorlie area :D

how can you tell the % of gold in your specimen's? Got a couple now and have no idea how to tell and I don't want to destroy them :o

Just bought some steel at the metal shop and made a rock crusher for $99 in parts I'll upload some pics tomorrow I power it by drill took me 2 hours to make, but on the test run I smashed the drill, so might hook up an old chainsaw :o

ok after reading this forum i decided yesterday that my sluice just wasnt cutting it, and was only good when you were crevising..... so yesterday i headed to the duct makers and got 2 sluice box's made up as well as some extra sheet metal cut for my hopper and today it was ready for pick up...

does anyone have a cheap secondhand 705 waterproof coil cheap? or any 705 coils???? i only have the DD 8.(
