Thanks everyone.

Rocket, yes that is all of them, probably about 30 from the HH.

The silver has certainly been coming in pretty consistently Silver. :D

pprogers, not sure how many 47's are there but it would be a decent percentage of them.

No wonder there few and far between around here, I must be getting the leftovers
I'm upto 11 florins and 1 double florin
Nice tally there

A double florin? You lucky bugger. I haven't got one yet. :) I've found a few silvers up your way. I got quite a few florins at Deep Creek, maybe 5 (numerous other silvers too) and 2 florins from the model boat spot just up the Parkway at Middle Creek, got a silver pocket watch cover there too. :D

Quick hunt this morning before it got a bit too warm.

And the gold drought continues .... out of all the 3030 detectorists I am very surprised by your lack of gold finds - I reckon you need to send it back to Minelab for a repair! :)

Yeah I know, bit odd finding no gold for the last 6 months, got 3 really nice gold rings in quick succession and then none until now. :(

Nah the detector is fine and I'm sure I've had the coil over gold that is in the ringpull/pulltab range but hey try detecting the parks I do and dig every pulltab..... absolutely impossible task. I'll hit the beaches more over summer.

Silver is easy to find among the extreme trash, gold is much much harder, just gotta be lucky and get the coil over the chunkier rings that give a 12:30 or higher.

Well after my last post in this thread I broke the drought, thanks Paulmarr for geeing me up. :D Gold baby!!!

Hit the HH again today, scored a 1935 penny straight up first target then a couple of goldies and after those came a 12:31 signal, I thought hmmm could be a gold ring but I wasn't going to get too excited. While recovering the target I thought sooner or later one of these 12:30 something targets is going to be another gold ring one of these days, well I was pretty stoked to see the nice golden glow come from in the dirt. Managed a couple of silver coins too, all in all a top hunt.

Most of the other chunky gold rings I've found have been around 12:30-32, they are pretty easy to target among the junk, smaller rings are much more difficult as the tones blend in with the hundreds and thousands of ringpull and pulltab tones.

Someone has been detecting my HH too, found a couple of junk targets next to the holes they came from, if the person leaving their junk on the oval is on this forum and reads this all I can say is lift your game and take the trash with you.
