Ahhhh....yes, there is nothing quite staring down the mouth of a bar at daybreak, trying to read the breakers and getting to the point where your enthusiasm balances with the realities of the size of the swell. Once the adrenaline rush has past and you are safely anchored, the sight of that sun creeping over the horizon is one of the worlds most magical events.

Somehow a day spent under florescent lights just doesn't quite have the same feel.
