The Largest Mako taken on a hook was 4.45m and there have been reports in the 1950's of them being from 5.77m to 6.19, With an average length of around 4m +/-,

If this one is about 3m then how big was the monster that bit him in half, That's not a place I'd be going fishing not without a Steel Hulled Boat,

There's bigger than Big Mamma out there Dihusky.... She is just one that has been caught on camera... Lots more Evidence there are bigger ones out there...

Plenty of Evidence around that Megalodons live out there.... Very recent Evidence too.... They just haven't been filmed properly ...yet... :skull:

I remember some years back, a very large great white was tagged and fitted with a tracking device.
I was amazed at the size of this shark. It was something like 15-16 foot long.
It was tracked from southern WA until the tracker stopped suddenly somewhere up the northern part of the coast.
When questioned why the tracker had stopped so suddenly, one of the scientists involved said that the shark was probably eaten by a bigger one.
