Hi Flowerpot, I was a little bit worried about you, about 2 years ago after you were sending me a box full of "yummies" and I promised to give you a hug, but never saw you again, hope we all see you around the goldfields soon.

Hey hello Herman, :)
yes I remember your promise of a hug and I will still like to take you up on that. I love hugs.

I hope you got to replace all your detecting gear and have been getting out amongst the gold again.
Until we catch up out in the goldfields, be good O:) Ill bring more yummies to share. :D

Bored shiteless waiting for my pump to arrive at the suppliers in west footscray. Was told Tuesday we'll have it waiting :D arrived at 11.00 to find out its still in transit with the freight company :| Rang the freight company and was told it will be delivered by 3.30  Asked them to call the driver and check for a more accurate eta only to be told we can't contact the driver   FFS it's the 21st century and ever man and woman has a mobile phone, geez I get pissed off with outright incompetence and blatant useless excuses :fistpump:

It might be time to give the freight company a free plug.

Direct Express, I'm still waiting :( but I did find out 5 minutes ago it was delivered at 12.30

So I've been checking the tracking portal every 1/2 hour it's still listed as in transit :( FFS

Not just the freight company also the pump shop is at fault. Put it this way I won't be buying any more pumps from this lot. I'll just get my pump head home fit it to the truck and find a new service spare parts agent/supplier.

Chasing a feed of sand crabs and enjoying the peace and quiet of the pumicestone passage.

Home from the last medical appointment for the year, two loads of washing done, potato salad made for lunch tomorrow, bread rolls baked for lunch today, ham sliced, a house husbands work is never done. :playful:
Feet up for the afternoon and a couple of movies are in order.
Merry Xmas

This will be the first time that my Mango Chutney will be absolutely from our own organic common mango tree (not making it now just cutting to freeze)

So I have a bit of an assembly line (gotta rest my sore arms here and there though)

Peeling is a pain

Be glad when I'm all done

20 Mangoes each time gives me a full saucepan of fleshed mango
(fleshing is a pain too) :(

That equates to one medium sized freezer bag full :D
(That's two down already... 2 to go) :D

The scraps go back out under the mango tree to help feed it for next time

So that's what I'm doing right now... prepping for some other morrow near winter time. :p
I'll get 4 bags all up.... that'll do two double batches :perfect:
Anything left over I can just let ripen up and then freeze the yummy stuff for out of season treats :p

Left my run late, again, to buy seafood from the Fishmonger at Lawnton. When I got there the queue was a kilometre long and Social Distancing was in place so standing for two or more hours was a no from me. Went to Coles at got some prawns. Mackka

Yes, Carolyn went and got some pork for moi and there were no Crays. Se bought a 1.5 kg of prawns for herself as well some ham and some tinned baby apple mash for use on the pork. It was a tip I heard of years ago on a radio talkback program in Vic. Tastes lovely. Now I have tp make sure I get my crackling "right".
The local fish and chips shop is selling the $20 crays for $40.
