Does anyone know if detectable gold has been found at Rocky River, Uralla?

I am thinking of taking the camper trailer up there for a couple of days and would like to know whether it is worth taking a detector.

No idea but I did call in to the Fossicking Area and panned for half an hour last week.

Definatlly gold there but very fine, no extremely fine.

Was not enough to hold my interest but I did not explore too much for a perfect location as I was only passing through.

Thanks mate, that ties in with what I have been finding on line. I will still take a detector if we go there, won't hurt to have a swing.

Mate take always take the detector and a pan..........................even to get milk!

No detectable gold in that field, there is coins about though.
