Relic detecting Wellington NSW

Hi I am new to detecting and Fossicking and would like know if there are any great places to detect around Wellington NSW, I would like to concentrate on Relic detecting than Gold Detecting as I love to find old war relics and coins. Any help would be appreciated.

Parks, ovals, grass verges, your backyard, friends and family backyards, anyone elses backyard you can get into, farms, old swimming holes, old camps (forestry, mining) Cobb and Co stops, old rail sidings

I very much doubt anyone is going to just hand up their spot that they know of. I have 3 main locations here in Coffs, I have shared them with people that I hunt with but I cam up with all of them myself through my own research and putting in the hours on the ground chasing the coins. In an hour and a 1/4 yesterday i dug 2 half pennys, 9 pennys, 3d, 6d and a shilling. Just gotta get out there, talk to people and dig holes!

Thank you Ben78 I appreciate your help, there are a few cob and co. stops around wellington most of them are on private property now. I am researching Wellington history now and hopefully I will find some great spots.
